Users who travel a lot know the problems: It is often difficult to visualize a lecture because of poor projection facilities at their destination. Who wants to be on the safe side, works with portable overhead projectors with either reflective or transmissive technology.
The transmissive technology sends the light through the document, which is recommendable especially for overlays and transparencies with dark colours. Powerful transmissive projectors can also be combined with data displays.
The lamp of the reflective projector is fixed in the projection head. The fresnel lens in the working surface reflects the light coming from the lamp in the projection head.
This technology is suitable for the projection of transparencies. Compared with the transmissive technology, the reflective projectors have considerable advantages:
- Easy transport due to compact construction and low weight.
- Extremely flat working surface for putting the projector on the conference table.
